Psychological Assessment Services
Psychological assessments are helpful for answering questions about your emotional and behavioral functioning to help gain insight and offer treatment recommendations. During an assessment, a variety of tools are used to obtain clinical data such as a clinical interview, psychological testing, observation, and a review of records from your school and doctors. Based on the data from the assessment, a report is formulated and a feedback session is scheduled to discuss the results and recommendations. The psychological assessment will help you determine what changes you might want to make in your life, offer a diagnosis (if needed), provide a treatment plan, and recommend any accommodations you may need in an academic setting.
Assessment services are provided for school-aged children, adolescents, and adults.
Examples of assessment services include:
Psychological testing to better understand behavior and personality patterns to help improve diagnostic clarification and treatment.
